Missouri Real Estate License Requirements
Salesperson
Exam- Pre-license hours: 72

Broker / Broker-Salesperson / Broker-Officer
Exam- Pre-license hours: 48
- Experience: Active salesperson experience under a supervising broker plus a Broker Pre-Examination Course.
Continuing education: 12 hours per renewal cycle.
Filing Complaints
MREC, housed within the Missouri Division of Professional Registration, accepts written complaints from consumers and other licensees. Staff investigators review each complaint, and the commission may file a complaint with the Administrative Hearing Commission. Sanctions range from probation through license revocation.

Transaction Coordinators in Missouri
Missouri does not separately license transaction coordinators. Brokerage activity must be performed by a Missouri licensee operating under a supervising broker. Administrative support performed under a licensed broker's supervision is generally permitted without a license.
