Georgia Real Estate License Requirements
Salesperson
Exam- Pre-license hours: 75
- Must complete an approved 75-hour pre-license course and a 25-hour post-license course within the first year of licensure.
Associate Broker / Broker
Exam- Pre-license hours: 60
- Experience: Three years of active salesperson experience within the previous five years.
Continuing education: 36 hours per renewal cycle.
Filing Complaints
GREC accepts written complaints from consumers and other licensees. The commission's investigation staff reviews each complaint, may issue subpoenas, and can refer matters to a formal hearing. Sanctions range from a citation to license revocation, and the commission may also order restitution.

Transaction Coordinators in Georgia
Georgia does not separately license transaction coordinators. A TC who performs only administrative support under a licensed broker's supervision is generally permitted to operate without a license; performing acts of brokerage (negotiation, soliciting listings) requires an active Georgia license.
